Do you offer a payment plan?

• Unfortunately no. Since all orthotic and prosthetic devices are custom fabricated, we are unable to start the fabrication process of a device until full payment is received.

How are the devices manufactured?

• Manufacturing depends on the animal, the animal’s conformation and the animal’s diagnosis. Pawsthetics will recommend what is best for your animal’s situation. Pawsthetics utilizes both hand casting as well as scanning for limb capture. Pawsthetics uses a variety of manufacturers, which range from traditional human orthotic and prosthetic fabrication techniques to HP Multi Jet Fusion 3-D printing technology.

What kind of materials do you use?

• The device materials also depend on the animal, the animal’s conformation and the animal’s diagnosis. Materials range from waterproof closed cell foam and sturdy polypropylene plastic to 3-D printing filaments (HP High Reusability PA 11, HP High Reusability PA 12 and BASF Ultrasint TPU01). Again, Pawsthetics will recommend what is best for your animal’s situation.

Are your devices refundable?

• Custom devices are non-refundable as they are prescription based and custom fabricated.
